Director of BUSTAN to speak in Lancaster Wednesday, May 18, 2005
BUSTAN is a partnership of Jewish and Arab eco-builders, architects, academics, and farmers promoting social and environmental justice and fair allocation of resources in Israel/Palestine. BUSTAN cultivates sustainable models to affect change by combining advocacy and in-depth political analysis with strategic action. BUSTAN utilizes the principles of permaculture and non-violent direct action across ethnic divides.

Devorah Brous, founder and director of Bustan who is doing powerful work with the Bedouin and use of land in Israel, is coming to the US in May with her colleagues on a speaking tour. Devorah will speak at the Lancaster Church of the Brethren, 1601 Sunset Avenue, Lancaster on Wednesday, 18 May at 4:00 pm.
