Stand
for Peace and a Sane Foreign Policy
Saturday, March 18 - the 3-year anniversary of the war
On the third anniversary of the war in Iraq, there will be several
opportunities for motivated individuals to act on their peacemaking
convictions. At 1 pm a silent procession will begin at Binn’s Park in
Downtown Lancaster (Lancaster Square on N Queen St. between Orange and
Chestnut). People of all faiths are invited to meet-up beforehand at
12:15PM at Community Mennonite Church, 328 W Chestnut St., to walk to
Binn's Park together. The procession will end at Southern Market
Center, 100 S Queen St., where a town meeting will begin at 2:15 pm.
Later that night, at 7 pm, a silent candlelight vigil will be held in
Penn Square in Downtown Lancaster. For more information, contact
