Stand for Peace and a Sane Foreign Policy Saturday, March 18 - the 3-year anniversary of the war On the third anniversary of the war in Iraq, there will be several opportunities for motivated individuals to act on their peacemaking convictions. At 1 pm a silent procession will begin at Binn’s Park in Downtown Lancaster (Lancaster Square on N Queen St. between Orange and Chestnut). People of all faiths are invited to meet-up beforehand at 12:15PM at Community Mennonite Church, 328 W Chestnut St., to walk to Binn's Park together. The procession will end at Southern Market Center, 100 S Queen St., where a town meeting will begin at 2:15 pm. Later that night, at 7 pm, a silent candlelight vigil will be held in Penn Square in Downtown Lancaster.
